GNOMES ON THE LOOSE! – Find some holiday magic along the Gnome Trail at Glen Allan Park, Bridgewater! A fun activity for kids and kids at heart. Discover winter gnomes of all shapes and sizes hiding on tree stumps, bridges and other secret places. You might even find some painted rocks, inspirational messages and other surprises along this enchanted forest trail. Enter the park at Glen Allan Drive, Hollingsworth Drive, or Streatch Drive.
Take a photo of a gnome or holiday decoration on its own or with you or your family and post it in the comments section on Facebook at MarkFureyMLA or email it to markfureymla@eastlink.ca. Your name will be entered in a draw for a prize, including a 3 months walking pass for HB Studios Sports Centre and some Town of Bridgewater swag!
Want to join in the fun? Feel free to add a painted rock, a gnome or other festive decoration on the trail for others to enjoy. Make sure you take a photo!
I am pleased to partner with the Town of Bridgewater in celebration of “Christmas on the LaHave” 2020”. Please note that the Town of Bridgewater Parks & Trails are not maintained during the winter months. Please use them at your own risk.
The Province is proud to have contributed $18,000 towards the creation of the Glen Allan Park trail system through its Connect2 program. It’s absolutely beautiful! This holiday event supports Let’s Get Moving Nova Scotia- a plan that encourages and support Nova Scotians to move more, and sit less, more often.
