Let’s get outdoors and spend time in nature…close to home! Discover “Forest Friends” and kindness stones along the Bull Run Trail in this “New Year…New Day” event that is a partnership between myself, the Bull Run Trail Association and the Municipality of Lunenburg, Recreation.
Enter the trail at the covered bridge (shown on poster) by Crossing Road (across from the Tastee Freeze, by the entrance to Indian Garden Farms, Hebbville). Walk 1 KM to Wildwood Drive & Return.
Take a pic of you or your family beside an owl, bunny, bird, gnome or kindness stone and post it in the comments section below and I’ll enter your name for a draw prize, including MODL Active Swag, a 3 months walking pass for HB Studios Sports Centre and South Shore Lumberjacks tickets!
Want to join in the fun? Feel free to add a painted kindness stone or a forest friend on the trail for others to enjoy. Make sure you take a photo for us!
Please note that this trail is not maintained during the winter months. Please use it at your own risk.
This event supports Let’s Get Moving Nova Scotia- a plan to encourage and support Nova Scotians to move more, and sit less, more often. Please remember to social distance and stay safe!
